On 9 October the Authority released its 2020 review of the Emissions Reduction Fund (ERF).
On 21 December 2018, the Climate Change Authority released its review of the National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting legislation. The Authority is required to review the National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting legislation by 31 December 2018 and then complete further reviews every five years.

The National Wind Farm Commissioner was appointed by the Australian Government in late 2015 in response to community concerns about wind farms. At that time, the Government said it would review the role in 2018.
