Metropolitan Law Talks and Regional Law Talks
Over 180 VCE Legal Studies students engaged with prominent legal figures at Metropolitan Law Talks, a one-day intensive study skills workshop. Run in partnership with RMIT’s Centre for Innovative Justice, Metropolitan Law Talks aims to bring the law to life for students and optimise their VCE Legal Studies results.
General Grants round is open for applications
Got an idea to improve Victorians understanding of the law? You could be eligible for a General Grant. Once again, we will be giving priority to Law Week events and legal information projects. In our last grants round, Barwon Community Legal Service received a General Grant to develop pop up legal health check stalls across the Barwon region. More than 1200 people passing by took part.
Law Week 2016 – making an impact
Building on the foundation of previous years, Law week 2016 was a resounding success, with record numbers of Victorians attending over 100 events throughout metro and regional Victoria.
