All gaming venue employees working in gaming machine areas while open to the public must complete an approved Responsible Service of Gaming (RSG) training course.

What do I need to do to receive my RSG certificate?

Training is administered through the Office of Liquor, Gaming and Racing and available online via the Department of Justice and Regulation website.

The RSG training requirements are prescribed by the Gambling Amendment (Training Requirements) Regulations 2016 (PDF, 81.95 KB).

NB: previously, training was arranged via the Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulation. This changed as at 1 January 2017.
