Schools program

Our school programs bring the law to life for students throughout Victoria.

Our programs for Victorian VCE Legal Studies students offer a real-world perspective on the law and the legal system that they cannot get from a Legal Studies textbook. Our focus is on supporting teachers and providing engaging and positive experiences that inspire young people to take an interest in the law and the role it plays in their everyday lives.

All of our programs are free. Each one is developed by a trained teacher and relates directly to the Legal Studies curriculum.

Regional Law Talks and Classroom Law Talks and Metropolitan Law Talks are our main programs. But there are many other opportunities to immerse your students in the law and the legal system in Victoria. You’ll find all the details here, along with a range of free teacher resources to support you in the classroom.

Our students were involved in a semi-scripted, mock mediation session as part of the Law Talks program. It brought their text books to life – they experienced the law in action – and they continue to talk about it passionately.
