Jacqualyn practices out of Mildura throughout the Lodden Mallee Region and also has a base in Melbourne.  Jacqualyn is a Barrister and Nationally Accredited Mediator.

Jacqualyn brings extensive experience from the financial services sector, where she was in-house counsel then a company secretary and director with one of Australia’s major banks. She played a leadership role in global banking risk management. Jacqualyn has recently spent a number of years at a senior executive level within the Victorian State Government.

As a barrister, she brings unique experience and understanding of the requirements of Goverment operations & policy as they impact on the law, solicitor in private practise, in-house counsel in the corporate sector and significant commercial experience.

As a solicitor, Jacqualyn practise was in the areas of insolvency, bankruptcy and financial services litigation where she first began appearing in VCAT, Magistrates, County, Supreme, and Federal and Appeal Court matters.

Jacqualyn took leave from general counsel and leadership roles to apply her significant expertise to represent the Yawuru native title holders in settlement negotiations with the WA State Government, as well as establishing and running the company structures, frameworks and operations of the entities associated with the Yawuru Corporate Group.

Before signing the Bar Roll, Jacqualyn worked in the mining and resources sector in Perth on matters related to mining explorations, tax reform submissions and joint operating agreements.
