BAILII 5TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

"Five Years of Free Law" BAILII 5th Anniversary Celebration
took place in London on 1st November 2004. The event was
hosted by Baker and McKenzie and sponsored by the Society
for Computers and Law (SCL), the British and Irish Legal Education
Technology Association (BILETA) and the British and Irish
Association of Law Librarians (BIALL).

FREE ACCESS TO LAW MOVEMENT - NEW PARTICIPANTS

Welcome to the two newest participants in the free access to law 
movement.

JURIBURKINA
Legal portal developed by LexUM (University of Montreal) in
collaboration with Ordre des Avocats du Burkina, Secretariat
General du Gouvernement and ZCP informatique. Provides
full text access to decisions of Burkina Faso including the
Conseil Constitutionnel, Conseil d'Etat, Cour de Cassation
and Tribunal du Travail. Available only in French.

NEW ZEALAND LEGAL INFORMATION INSTITUTE (NZLII)
The New Zealand Information Institute (NZLII) is a prototype
system developed by the University of Otago Faculty of Law, 
the Victoria University of Wellington Faculty of Law and AustLII.
It currently contains decisions from the Court of Appeal of New
Zealand, New Zealand Commerce Commission, New Zealand Privacy
Commissioner, Human Rights Review Tribunal of New Zealand, 
publications of the New Zealand Law Commission, the Otago Law
Review and the Victoria University of Wellington Law Review.
