Pacific Judicial Development Programme - Phase 2

The Pacific Judicial Development Programme (PJDP) Phase 2 was designed to support participating Pacific Island Countries to enhance the professional competence of judicial and court officers, along with the processes and systems they use.

Supported by the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and implemented by the Federal Court of Australia, the PJDP operates in 14 countries in the region, namely: Cook Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Nauru, Niue, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tokelau, Tonga, Tuvalu and Vanuatu.

For further information on the Programme, its activities, and upcoming opportunities please use the following link to the PJDP web page: http://www.paclii.org/pjdp

We're improving!

We've just rolled out an improved linking system for court cases. You should find more case citations with active links, many of them taking advantage of our new LawCite service to provide better context for the cases.

When you click on a LawCite citation, you'll be presented with a global list of documents cited by the judgment as well as other documents that cite this judgment.

We welcome your feedback on this new feature, and anything else on the PacLII website.
